Education & Training
I received my Bachelor’s of Art degree in Psychology from The University of South Florida in 2003. In 2004, I began my graduate training at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and received my Master’s of Art degree in Psychology in 2006, and received my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology degree in 2009. I also completed an APA accredited predoctoral internship at The University of Tennessee-Knoxville Counseling Center in 2008-2009.
I received graduate training and work experience in various settings and with various age groups. I have worked at two counseling centers, two community mental health agencies, an outpatient clinic, and several private practices. In 2010, I established my own private practice and currently work full-time in this setting. I also serve as an adjunct faculty member at Marywood University and the University of Scranton, teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses.
I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, grief, and anger. I also specialize in working with survivors of abuse and trauma, including physical and sexual childhood abuse, rape, and domestic abuse. In addition, I also work with many clients who are struggling with relationship issues and work or school related stress.
